About us
Hope for the Future Organization is a non-governmental, non-profit organization which focuses on women and children. The organization was founded in July 2001 and registered in August 2004 as a community, human rights and community development organization. The idea was initiated by 10 women in the community to handle problems affecting women, young girls and their children by using local solutions and holistic approaches.
The organization has 50 registered members. Hope for the Future organization has started 3 local community schools in different parts. These schools are Jack and Jill in Namasuba – Kikajjo, Destiny Primary School in Kigungu -Bunoko, and Hillside Infant and Primary School. This is to enable orphans, needy and poor children, widows ,single mothers, young mothers send their children to schools to get education. Education is vital in the fight against poverty, domestic violence against women, and the general community development.
At Hope for the Future Organization, we believe that, development cannot be brought to people, but it must come within people themselves through unleashing their talents, enthusiasm, energy and resources around them.
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can create a better future for the needy.
