Hope for the future organization was founded in July 2001, The idea was initiated by 10 community members to handle problems affecting vulnerable groups like orphans, women, the disabled widows and other needy vulnerable children in poor and underserved communities of Uganda by using local solutions and hostile approaches .

Hope for the future organization is run by an elected and dedicated board of directors (BOD) This is the supreme organ for the organization. The Board of directors (BOD) works on a voluntary basis with no allowances .This paves way for all the movies generated to go directly to an unlended project. The BOD is supported by a group of 25 volunteers.

At hope for the future organization (HOFFO), We believe that development cannot be brought to people it must come from within the people themselves through unleashing their talents, enthusiasm, energy, and resources around them. We involve all stoke holders and beneficiaries from project planning, implementation monitoring , evaluation to post ecution to ensure the beneficiaries get the best out of the project unimplemented.

HOFFO is involved in community social development projects aiming at helping vulnerable become productive and live independent and improved lives. For the children – one of our main target groups we provide them with education which is the best weapon to help them transform their lives and communities in general. Other target groups are equited with skills like vocational training and information which can help them generate some income to sustain themselves and their dependents.
